One think I found very amusing was this: the PA system is playing music the
entire time the announcer is not talking. If it's during races, or
especially during Free Practces, when there is little or no commentary, it
is this constant drone of, get this, Classic Rock. You know: Creedence
Clearwater Revival, AD-DC, Dire Straights, etc. I think in the 3 days I was
at the track, I heard one song in Spanish.
It's like they bought the same contract as tracks in the USA.

And then there's odd logistics

I don't remember if I mentioned this before. My host offered to drive me to
the track when I got to their house. We got to the track just about Noon,
and, when I showed them my ticket they directed us in a clockwise direction
to the next gate. This was repeated at the next 2 gates. Signage was not
good (and workers were still putting up signs). At our third stop, we were
told this was my entrance, and I was directed to the gate, a little further
in the same direction. At this gate, I was told I was not at the correct
gate, but that I had to go back 100 meters, under a bridge and then
continue on in the same clockwise direction to the next gate. Next gate,
guess what; next gate. Turns out that my gate was one gate counterclockwise
to where we started, and there was no reason to direct us otherwise.
Perhaps they were still sorting things out Friday, but I'd like to think
they would do more early preparation, but on the macro and individually.
My 2 cents, and this small inconvenience in no way hindered my enjoyment of
the weekend.

I think i'd prefer the sound of the track setting over the acoustics of a
PA system playing music.
Thanks for sharing, cheers!
