You are correct that it is somewhat overrated, but there are a LOT of roads in the area that are just as good,some better. The Dragon has the endless curves, but some are quite tight and it is really hard to get a rhythm. Then the traffic issue. If you are just cruising (I get it, HD guys) there will always be someone in your rear-view mirror. If you are the fast guy, you will be in someone else's mirror. Don't get me wrong - do it, but If you can work out staying in the area a few days, there are a ton of country roads up there with more flowing curves and beautiful scenery. You will have a great time exploring. Thanks for the feedback, Ted. I agree that the lesser known jewels are often more enjoyable because they won’t typically be crowded.
