With all the news and rumors going on about KTM's struggles, and possible
solutions, I'm surprised this story has been so totally missed.
While details are scarce, and any deal being kept well under wraps, it
looks as though no other than Valentino Rossi may be the hero riding to the
rescue for KTM. Exactly what his role might be, along with any financial
arrangements, is still completely hidden. It seems strange that Rossi would
assist a team that is in direct competition with his own VR46 squad, but it
is all just rumors at this point. The only evidence to date is a photo that
our intrepid photographer, me, was able to grab just prior to this race
weekend.
Lewis Hamilton has been said to have interest in the rescue of KTM as
well....
