My beloved ST4 doesn’t like hot weather. On a long hot ride the oil pressure light blinks when the engine slows to an idle. My question is this, would using a heavier weight oil like 20w50 improve the situation increasing oil pressure or would it do opposite lowering the oil pressure? I presently use motorcycle specific 10w40.
