Go Pecco!!!!
There was some good racing elsewhere on the track, but Pecco pulled off an
amazing victory, 13th to 1st. The last few laps, I was on the edge of my
seat, hoping he didn't lose it, or that Maverick and Fabio couldn't close
and pass him (though it got pretty close).
This race just goes to show how fortunes come and go. Pecco overcame a huge
margin on Fabio to take a championship-there's still a long way to go this
season, but it's sure exciting to watch Jorge catch up in points the way he
did, only to toss it with a commanding lead. A long way to go........

A long way to go, yes. I am hoping that it stays close for the remainder
of the season.
I go to the race at Valencia every year, and am hoping for a real race
this year, unlike last year. Instead of the points leader only needing to
place 7th or 8th to win the title, I would love to see a race where the
championship is such that the leaders actually have to fight for the win.

Marc Marquez at Gresini will end this amateur hour in no time.

Amateurs?
Blah blah blah (it's at times like this I look for our friend, Lan, to
chime in).
First, I'll give Marquez this, he's got more championship points than any
other rider on a Honda.
Second, we'll see about Marquez on a Ducati. I think the Ducatis might
require a style of riding that is quite different from Marquez's style to
date. Whether he can adapt, and whether he can get more out of the bike
than Pecco or Jorge, we shall see.
