Trouble with MotoGP feed (anyone else?)

As far as the video feed goes, it was a pain in the ass to watch the race
in Qatar. The signal dropped out completely (feed just disappeared and
returned to the MotoGP home screen), so I had to go back a page or two to
regain it. I lost count of how many times this happened during the race
(15?).
Did anyone else have similar problems?

Mine worked correctly. I am now using an Apple TV 4K and in general that
device has been less troublesome than my experiences in the past.

I echo Vicki's experience. MotoGP app on an AppleTV box, no issues at all.

And, I'm an Android kind of guy. I originally got the AppleTV because of
the MLS Season Pass  but I'm running all of my streaming apps on it, e.g.,
Peacock, YouTube, MotoGP, etc.

No complaints at all.

Hmm. Apple TV is an option not open to me. I will investigate to see what
might have been the issue. I was not my connection, I was getting download
speeds of nearly 400 MB/s. It is a bit of a moot point for me now, as I
will be at the track for Valencia, so I will not care about Dorna feed
issues.

I am using the MotoGP Video Pass website. It has been a banner year for
screw ups and awful site performance. Between spotty access, darkened
screen edges when the mouse cursor is moved and dead end links, I am very
disappointed. I have been trying unsuccessfully for 30 minutes to get to
the replay of the race.

This is as bad as it has ever been.

Love ya, George.
Sorry to converse over such a s**t show.
I just watched the race, and the only thing that kept me from screaming in
frustration was the fact that i had loaded the Timing Pass, which stayed up
as the video feed failed. So I at least knew who was where.
As I said, it will be moot next weekend, as I will be at the Ricardo Tormo
track. Look for me on the video feed from Dorna. I've been able to get air
time 2 of the past 3 years,  and have a good plan for this year. Oh, yea,
there's the race as well.

I agree with George. The new Motogp site is glitchy and unreliable not to
mention more expensive than it should be and doesn’t include timing. I
bought the Apple TV box because I was desperately looking for a way to stop
weekend mornings getting worked up at the app before coffee.
Also:
Who are you rooting for and why?
I’ll go first. Jorge Martin. He has been flawless and focused, saw a window
mid season and gunned right thru it. When he has working tires he has been
a marvel. I know it’s a long shot but he deserves the 2024 factory ride.

Hmm. Apple TV is an option not open to me. I will investigate to see
what might have been the issue. I was not my connection, I was getting
download speeds of nearly 400 MB/s. It is a bit of a moot point for me now,
as I will be at the track for Valencia, so I will not care about Dorna feed
issues.

Mine worked correctly. I am now using an Apple TV 4K and in general

As far as the video feed goes, it was a pain in the ass to watch the
race in Qatar. The signal dropped out completely (feed just disappeared and
returned to the MotoGP home screen), so I had to go back a page or two to
regain it. I lost count of how many times this happened during the race
(15?).
Did anyone else have similar problems?

I agree with George. The new Motogp site is glitchy and unreliable not to mention more expensive than it should be and doesn’t include timing. I bought the Apple TV box because I was desperately looking for a way to stop weekend mornings getting worked up at the app before coffee. Also: Who are you rooting for and why? I’ll go first. Jorge Martin. He has been flawless and focused, saw a window mid season and gunned right thru it. When he has working tires he has been a marvel. I know it’s a long shot but he deserves the 2024 factory ride.
