Hey all, Amelia Island Concours.. coming up. Many of you have been to Quail(s) and Pebble, as have I. From DC area, is Amelia Island worth the trip? It looks like a few cars only.. no bikes? Quail Motofest is not happening this May… i’m looking for something. Possibly something like i did last May.. (took a 2- week west coast trip with a good friend and riding buddy) One of the best! They have bikes. I curate the class. This year it’s called Mechanical Marvels and among other impressive machines will be the Dodge Tomahawk, a Wraith and a Tesi being displayed without bodywork. Amelia is a big weekend. Like huge. The Sat seminars are always really good. Like being a fly on the wall with Indy car greats or NASCAR stars, usually both. It’s basically like this - Pebble is the event industry people have to do. Amelia is the one they want to do. It’s a who’s who of famous racers and historic figures in the sport. 100% you should go.
