Sorry to hear about your misadventures  I hope you can still enjoy your
Monster.  I remember when you bought it.  They are a marked improvement
over the 821 version.  Fingers crossed you will regain your comfort level
and be able to ride more

My '24 Monster+ has been sitting a lot. Only 700 miles on it after buying
it in October of '23. After a few hand surgeries from my '23 accident I
rode it a few times until my WIMA rally in Australia in '24. Rode a Royal
Enfield Conti there, but dumped it riding into a campground on a moonless
night, hitting a deep pothole and breaking my collarbone. Needed a 4" plate
for that! Then rode for several months before recently losing ALL the
hearing in my right ear about 2 months ago--out of nowhere! Very
disorienting. Also affected my balance a bit. I think I could try riding
again soon, as I am getting accustomed to it. The weirdest part is not
knowing where sounds are coming from. I'll try riding around my
neighborhood first....
