Yea, I'm with Pags on this one -- and actually it was even worse; the claimed power was a whooping 81 hp for the Supermono they used to race out of Marin, CA back in the days (I believe John McCoy of Britalia Motors, Capitola ended up with that one, and later sold it for $50k).

Anyhow, it outperformed the original 916 on the quarter-mile ... and yes, the Supermono has always been my dream machine -- this I wrote 26 years ago:
