Who went to the Quail?
Lots of shiny Bimotas… and other awesome stuff!
A few Tesi’s, a couple DB’a.
Bob  from Bimota spirit started the V-Due.
And they won an award for this YB!
This bike beat a Dunlop at IOM a few years ago.

The Bimota display was likely the best one that will ever happen in the foreseeable future. All in all it was a great year. I felt bad for the judges, some classes were just knee deep in great entries.
And the food was even better if that’s possible.
Great show.

Lots of great machines. I was judging the Custom/Modified Class - no rules
but still a difficult task.

Literally tons of great bikes… and that was just the parking lot!The field was spectacular… no rain!

And of course, sometimes things happen. I heard someone tried to pass a CHP escort on the track ride, and another threw down a Bimota on the rally ride. No report on the bike but rider was badly injured and, at least briefly, hospitalized.

The Carmel Valley Rd. ride can be treacherous but it is spectacular.

I rented a BMW GS and rode up from Long Beach, continuing to Portland.
