Email groups are a dying breed. I am still here but your post is the first
I have seen in quite a while. I have closed the US DESMO club officially
but we still ride together. We still have our four rallies but no food,
door prizes and of course T shirts. The website is gone band rally
attendance is down a little but we still get between 20 and 40 riders
showing up. I still own two Ducati: a 2018 Scrambler Cafe Racer and a 2023
Monster SP.

Well, as long as we are updating… I sold my MV 675 F3 after 10 years of MV screwing up in Canada. Linda, as many of you know, sold her beloved Max to Mark Ducky Canuck who renamed him Mike the Bike. He enjoyed that Monster for a few years but then sold it to I think a couple in Texas.
We bought a one owner 1993 Caterham Super 7 HPC EVO with just 18k from new last Feb. We put over 2600 miles on it doing weekend shows and at least one Cruise Night a week. We had a blast! This year on May 4th the force was not with us. Our first weekend out for 2025 and not a mile from our home a local cuts the corner turning left and drives right into us while we’re sitting at the Stop sign. The car is still not fixed but that’s another story.
Linda was healing up from her heart attack just before Christmas of 2024, (which left her with a heart that is at less than 80% of what it should be) when two Monday’s ago she was robbed in a parking lot. There is so much violence in the world today she is lucky the guy just grabbed her ring and ran.
Oh and I’m spouting new hardware as I got myself a pacemaker.
Still have our 1998 900 SS FE but it too will be up for sale once I get the car sorted.
Hope everyone else is doing better. I keep up with Ducati news, follow the USDesmo Facebook page and have two years of GP action to watch.

I'm still here, 74 years young. I'm on Facebook, couple forums, and our local club uses whats app for rides and chat.
I moved to Daytona Beach, live in Margaritaville, reduced the herd but still riding my Ducs as well as my cruiser/touring bikes. I don't do long rides much anymore, my Sweetie, Nora, has Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) so I can't leave her alone for long. I admit it isn't great riding the M900 around here but I know some roads and I did participate in the Global Ducati Day. The Diavel is still a nice ride anywhere on pavement. - Gene
