Riding in these Temps. NDC

Been a while, howdy chaps and chapettes.

Someone was sighting their disgruntledness about riding in 100 degree.
Temps. (F)  for me even 90 is bad, especially off-road.

Solution: nothings perfect however Leatt or anyone who makes mesh soft
armor jackets/ shorts /pants is one helluva difference.

Moisture wicking T-shirt underneath and I'm good to go for a while.

The 3DO soft armor is near magical for impact protection (yes, "battle
tested"). So much so it's replaced all my armor. Cheap as well. Available
everywhere.

Dumping water on myself is nice, too. Those "misters" work great for
mountain biking. Why not everywhere else? There fantastic. Nothing is
perfect. But so what?
Neither am I. Abrasion resistance is minimal, but better than I thought.
YMMV. 👍

Cheers, all.  Ride well.

Ducati-less currently but the condition is fixable.

Ah, reminds me of those two days of California Superbike School at
Thunderhill some years ago. It was hovering around 100, and I was drinking
water and electroyte mix as I could. After each session I got out of my
riding suit as fast as I could. We were drapping wet towels over our heads
and necks and standing in front of the fans as much as possible. After the
3 session, I thought, "I think I can manage one more," and after that,
figured I could make it for the fifth and last session.
It was brutal, but most of us made it through the day. I was totally spent,
and so relieved to have survived.
