[Ducati] My "run in with the law" story

Definitely, the scariest time I've had with the police was in Chevy Chase,
MD in '73.  I left my apartment with a few sets of darts to go play at a
friend's house a few miles away.  It was late fall, so dark at 6:00, and I
had just gotten on the bike (my second Triumph) and backed it into the
street when up came the cops with siren wailing and lights flashing.

With guns drawn the pair hopped out of the car and it was 'up against the
wall' so to speak, legs spread and hands high.  They looked in the brown bag
bungied to the seat and found the darts and relaxed considerably.

Turned out a guy on a bike had robbed a bank on Wisconsin Ave half an hour
before and stashed the money in a brown bag.  I was a likely suspect, for
sure.  Scared the bejeebers out of me.
