[Ducati] My "run in with the law" story

4 vehicles at once? That blows. A buddy and I received tickets from Texas'
finest in Ozona (don't ask) on the way to DRA in 2001. First thing in the
morning, 105mph in a 65. My buddy was just catching up to me, but we both
got equal tickets. The officers chatted with us for a while and kindly
dropped the tickets to something like 90 in a 65.
Speaking of which, I have to put in a few words for the Texas Department of
Public Safety officers. I've gotten a lot of tickets in my short
driving/riding "career," with something like 11 in 2006 alone. Between all
of those, I've always been impressed with the professionalism of the Texas
DPS. Always composed, always considerate and you always get a ticket. I
almost think I'd rather get a ticket from the DPS than be let off by a
constable. Almost.
