[Ducati] Battery maintenance for 748

I went for the the Battery Tender.
I think I paid about $42 for it.
You connect the pigtail permanently to the battery and let it hang out 
in a convenient spot where it is easy to make the connection.
The connection is foolproof and has a rubber boot that slips on when not 
in use.
The tender is an electronic unit which has an LED which starts red and 
turns green when the battery is fully charged.
(I am slightly color challenged and would prefer an additional light to 
register the charged condition)
It is 'smart' and won't over charge.
