1967: I was home (Hackensack, NJ) from college (American International
Coll., Springfield, MA) for the summer. A friend had this 350cc Ducati and,
with me as pillion, he went screaming down Rte. 4 near Fairlawn. No helmets,
gloves, etc. I was never so happy as when the State Trooper pulled him over.
The Trooper walked slowly to the bike, eyeing these two morons and finally
said...."Hey, is that a Ducati?" Let us off with a warning for a burned out
tail light. I didn't get back on a bike for almost 10 yrs. Glad I did. My
friend now lives in GA and every now and again rides a small Japanese
cruiser. I'm the guy with the 998. :)
