First Bike?

I started riding every chance I got in 1965.  A friend gave me the first 
bike that lived at my house, a 450 Honda that I rode all summer in 71.  I 
didn't get my 1st very own bike until spring of 72 - a 5/Toaster. Yea, I was 
cool too. Got introduced to Ducati in 72 and bought my first new Duc in 
Spring 79. Been riding pretty much daily for 36 years.

I watched an old man, Roland Pike (a moto genius of BSA fame), ride his 
motorcycle in all types of weather on a very frequent basis up until just 
before his death at something over 85 years old.  Look him up. He was a 
motocycle icon.  His last bike as a 250 Ninja that he said could outrun his 
vision.

Hope I make it that long. Why take a car when you can ride!
