[Ducati] bike purchase advice needed

1999 would be a 748 or a 996. Based on the price I would bet the former.
Very radical riding position but higher bars help a lot. The latter would
be a big jump from a single and I would only do that with great care.

Subject: [Ducati] bike purchase advice needed

I own a number of singles but am looking to add a modern bike to my garage.
I don't know much about the newer bikes so I need some input about this
particular bike for sale. I've included all the info the seller listed on
Craig's List. What size is this bike? I can't quite make it out from the
photos, but it appears to be a 998? Is this a good bike? Is there a better
choice for a first-timer? 998, if that's what it is, is bigger than I was
thinking of going - I had a 749 in mind - but the price is attractive.
Comments please and thank you!

Scott
