Course what is missing in this equation is that you do not have to go with just water and water wetter, but can go to a mixture of water and the minimum of ethylene/propylene glycol which for some is 50/50 or even less, seems years back I went 60/40 or 70/30 water/ coolant. and added the appropriate number of ounces of water wetter. The water wetter in the right mix of coolant to water will help, back when I first started doing that it dropped average temps 10-15 degrees. Note that it has a few undesireable properties like boiling at 212 when not under pressure, you want better contact with metal so surfactant helps. I was not happy with Evans Coolant though. But a mix of DI water/coolant and water wetter for all the time use is fine...it is not just for track use. I did this for years with no ill effects that I could see. Rich
