Stephan, the water wetter works great for cooling and not being slippery 
if you leak
on the track but it does not have the lubracating properties that your 
water pump needs.
It will work great but after a period, a long one, the pump will need 
some lube. Short
periods you will be fine. We use it in my sons track bike and go back to 
normal coolant
when it goes on the street.
