[Ducati] 'Flushing' the clutch??

we change the clutch fluid on older bikes every time we service them - annually or 5,000km depending on owners as a rule.

the later ones tend not to darken the fluid so much.  there is a bleeder inside the 749 master cylinder reservoir.  don't crack it with the lever in - it'll go everywhere.  for some reason bleeding it there can also occaisionally noticeably increase the lever effort, like you took a lot of air out, but not really effect how it works.
