Thanks for your knowledge - the right side nut loosens quicker than the left
- I will check and make sure the protruding thread is equal on both sides
...

steel swingarm? you need to be aware that the thread on each end of the
axle is not that long, and it's possible to do one of the nuts up against
the end of the thread and think it's tight. you need to tighten both at the
same time, making sure the exposed thread on each end is similar and only a
thread or so max. or lock one nut up hard on the end of its thread and only
ever undo the other. if they're both tight they don't come loose.
the little screws that hold the adjuster plates get torqued to 8nm (6 ft.lbs).
works fine.
