[Ducati] 998s regulator/rectifier

The newer reg/rectifiers seem to be a bit better, they are not all the same. In late 90s Ducati sourced em from the japanese if i am not mistaken. If you keep battery properly charged and keep an eye on connectors and the like you might never have a problem. Poor battery charging practice, poor connections and abuse of system when starting are what deep fries reg/recifier. I would spend money on better connections, cleaning up grounds, upgrading battery if you can, maybe better starting battery wires. And wait on new reg rectifier. Think Ritzo is still around with the new Company, it is not Electrex anymore. I think Bombardier sp? bought them. Rich
