[Ducati] Speed TV rant

I think you're absolutely right, Don. Even though the original Speedvision
channel was largely filled with 2 wheel programming (which was fine with
me....) I can't see why there can't be a proper channel with, like,
everything BUT Nascar. Fill the channel with every type of road course
racing that exists, coupled with World Rally, Dakar (if it still exists),
dirt racing, etc. "Just seems like crap" I think says it very well with
regard to the idea that the channel could not attract enough viewers across
that wide spectrum of racing to make it financially viable. Fill in the wee
morning hours with stuff like boat/plane racing, etc.

Steve

So, can anyone tell me what really happened to "Speed". My assumption has
always been that somone with good intentions started a wonderful network
that was bought out by NASCAR and turned to crap. The idea that a channel
like the original Speed can't survive in the American market just seems like

crap.
Don
