Who did Steve McQueen think he was, Bud Ekins?  

OK, OK...no comparison.  

Bud Ekins was the stunt man.  Not Tom Cruise.  Don't know if anyone
caught the great article/interview with Ekins in a recent British
publication.  If you are interested, I will look it up for specifics.
The guy had some great stories to tell, and it wasn't all about McQueen.
Bud Ekins: RIP.
