[Ducati] "Rad" GT1000 in North America for 2008?

Did anyone see the Road Bike Mag article for March? The writer  tested a 
"2008 GT1000" and it was red. Problem  is...red has been discontinued for 2008 in 
North  America. I could assume that the bike was a 2007 and that Ducati  
requested that she call it a 2008 but that would be too easy. Is there something  i 
don't know about?
