I am not sure you will find a commercial supplier, like me there are other listers who have made their own tools. But I did not duplicate this tool. I suspect I likely have some pictures of it somewhere. if the individuals who have made em in the past speak up perhaps you can work somthing out with them. Not much in Ducati tooldom that some of us have not copied or done better...I still say the Nichols nuts is your best investment. And I speak from near 15 years of experience with this very subject. Back when I knew no better I used the biggest impact I had and every trick known to man to lock it down and I used locktite and the result was having to replace the rotor when it loosened up in something like 500 miles and wore out the keyway. The new models with bigger nut likely less of an issue perhaps but I did not take any chances with 996R, Nichols nuts went on that baby.

Can someone point me to a supplier of the rotor holding tool for the two
phase rotors in a 97 748 in the US? The Ducati part almost
150.00USD....Yumpin juimny it seems hardly enough!

Thanks,
Eric

Couple of folks have made a tool to hold the rotor, that is the best way. I
have used impacts and wicking locktite but for sure the best option ar
Nichols double nuts. that is what I use currently. Rich
