About 6 years ago, we started talking on Pantaheads and Bevelheads about a
Giro de Sardegna, and several of us wound up going. My dear wife had never
ridden on a bike before, but was game, so I bought a MotoGuzzi ex
Carabinieri bike that had a converted radio box to pillion seat. We rode for
something like 7 days straight, putting on perhaps 2000 km or so, but it was
all very twisty and winding roads through the mountains. She had a great
time, never complained.
