[Ducati] 56K miles and gurgling

I'm nearing 56K miles on an '01 996. I'm on the second clutch and maybe
the fourth chain and sprocket. 'Had the front and rear brake rotors
changed once and the pads a couple of times. All in all I've babied this
bike since it is my only form of transportation. Unfortunately I still owe
close to $7K on it and I've hit a financial rough spot in my life. I fear
it may get repo'ed. Anyway...

I noticed this gurgling sound today coming from the exhaust. It sounded
like someone trying to blow water out of a snorkel. I'm sure the bike
could use a complete rebuild but do you think this is actually water in
the pipes or maybe an injector problem?
