The YTZ7S was the state of the art a couple years ago. The most powerful
battery of its type and size at the time. I am not including lithiums or
other exotics. Most of the time they worked for people on everything from
999s on down. But if they were stale when new or charged with the wrong type
of charger they never fully recover. They were far and away better than the
X series batteries from Yuasa. Your bike needs to be in top state of tune so
that it normally starts quickly, if it is one that requires a lot of
cranking you're better off with a bigger battery. There are Z series
batteries in larger sizes you might want to look for one of those.
