Always had great success using tension along with moderate heat and time to remove taper fit gears/bearings. Even used it to once to seperate defective AL Navajo aircraft center beams bonded with a 3M adhesive. They key is giving it time to work and applying addition tension in slow, moderate stages until they seperate. Brad CT.
