[Ducati] Carb Setting Info, 95, 900SP

I had all sorts of problems with my 93 db2. When I was looking to work on
the carbs I noticed the opening in the air box was about the size of a
quarter. Either of the two carbs had bigger throats so I just removed that
little nose piece from the air box and all my problems went away. Not only
that but with the bimota full flow exhaust it would pull hard to the 9K red
line Classic case of too lean do to air flow blockage so I would say you
can safely stay with the stock carbs. I also had a 95 900 SS/SP and it was
a wonderful bike and would pull hard to about 8,500 rpm. It has a K&N
filter, open air box and after market mufflers. I checked my maintenance
records and unfortunately I did not write down the jetting changes that were
made to it.
