[Ducati] 900 SS Fuel Pump

It's normal.
The fuel pump comes on as soon as you turn the key, even if the bike is not 
started. The is a hose that runs the fuel back into the gas tank from the 
carbs just for that purpose.

After taking my 96 900 SP out of a three month storage, I noticed the fuel 
pump seems to run continuosly.  Bike has the FCR flatside carb mod.  Is this
