Time is quickly approaching for the first season opener win of the 1098. Troy Bayliss and staff will have the DUC's on the 1, 2, and 3 spot on the podium. Then let the whining begin about the cc advantage. You know its coming. But anywho, I got a response back from the people at Utah about prices. One member from the list who has worked the Utah Ducati tent gave some information on his experience :

"The last couple of years the Ducati hospitality tent was located between Toole turn and Club House Corner. The ERDA grandstand is right outside that area and has shade and a nice view of a jumbotron. I also watched some of the events from the fence near second and bad attitude. There is generally passing in this area. The track is easy to get around and the ducati tent has lots of water which is needed :-) The Black Rock hairpin is a good passing zone as well but not so good for viewing. The general pits are open to everyone and I have walked all around there as well- nice setup."

We need 20 people to get the price breaks. I am guessing that general admission will be the way to go and all can seat the Ducati tent. Just need to decide on 2 or 4 day and paddock pass. If you want grandstand seats or any other special seating then I can give you those special prices. Please all those seriously interested in going please email me with Name and number of tickets and if you need hotel stay. Then I can call and see if we can get a block of rooms for a discount rate. I need numbers and information in a timely fashion. Then I can contact the guy at Miller Sport Park about it and he can expect our calls for the tickets.

Glad to hear of the response. With a group of 20 or more we can get you 1/2 off the paddock passes. So, for a 2-day package (Saturday and Sunday) it will be $107.50 ( regularly $120 ; or for the 4-day ( Thurs - Sunday) it will be $140 (regularly $160) . As for the Ducati tent, the deal is not finished but is likely to be. The location has not been solidified but it will likely be located in the Midway. The Midway is located on the East side of the track just South of the Club House. This was the location last year during the AMA Superbike races held at MMP last year and will likely be there again.

We will likely have a motorcycle parking area that is sperate from the normal parking but the location is not picked yet. I will let you know of the details as soon as I get them.

Lets not wait the last minute.
