Hey Art,
Did you mean to say, "Throw away the rag"?
I agree with you Jim on your use of WD40.
I soak a rag with wd40 and run the chain through it until it's clean, then I
throw away the chain at the end of the season.
Removing all the grime is saving the chain from accelerated wear! It's so
easy to do and stay on top of on a regular basis as well.
