[Ducati] 900 SP fairing

Alec,
I've never had a fairing fit exactly on any of the 3 900s I've owned, but
I've also never had a cracking like you describe (unless it's too small for
my old eyes). Nylon washers sound like a good idea (isn't that what it came
with?), but I'm not sure about rubber grommets, but it sounds like a good
idea, as long as you can get things cinched down well enough.
With my current fairings, I've got to put some muscle into them to line up
the holes for the mounting bars towards the back, and it has not been a
problem yet.
