[Ducati] 1098 question

Therein lies the conundrum... As Rob says, the bikes are virtually perfect
as they are and the -smartest- thing to do is buy gas and tires and do some
focused track days. On the other hand, upgrades are fun, and the first and
really last thing you "need" is the Termignoni slip-on system. You'll get
all of the Ducati sound without being totally obnoxious, and somewhere in
the 5% range improvement in power. It comes with the ECU and retains the
stock "power valve" so there's truly no down side to power or torque. It
also preserves the factory warranty.
Even though I'm starting to like things quieter, the Termis are really de
rigeur for a proper Ducati.

Very good recommendation. Only problem is it is logical and far less fun
than making a bike sound like a Ducati should. =/8^]
