[Ducati] Putnam track day

I just made reservations for the Ducati track day after the Moto GP at Indy.  Normally, I take a 749 to the track but due to transportation logistics might be taking an ST3 for the week's events.  Has anyone ever had an ST3 on the track?  On what kind of tires?  I am especially interested in how the suspension and brakes performed in that environment.  Any impressions?
