Miss Vicki, here in San Bernardino CA we have a yearly event called The Route 66 Rendezvous and it's three days of cruising ,contests, music and food. Well this year were doing the same thing with motorcycles. For two days we close downtown streets and have special motorcycle parking on the streets, a poker run, vendors, Custom bike show and contest and I have been elected to put together the Sport Bike end of this First Inaugural event. It was originally conceived for Cruisers and customs but I opened my mouth and asked about the sport bikes and they sucked me in. I have arranged for a stunt bike team to come out and some sport bike vendors. I am now in charge of the Judging for the sport bike shine and show. My question is, do you have any suggestions or a list of criteria for judging such an event. I suggested we start off with only two classes this year and will be judging a class for Custom Sport Bikes and Peoples Favorite Daily rider. I really want this event to take off as we have a large biking population and no events other than unofficial bike nites at selected spots. Any help would be really appreciated. And of course if anyone wants to go and are in the area it's the 2nd and 3rd of May. Its officially called the Berdoo Bikes & Blues Rendezvous and a lot of bands are scheduled for the two days. My son and I will be representing the Ducati contingent so we need more Ducs. Thanks in advance.
