[Ducati] 999 Chain and sprocket

I have a 2003 999 Mono. One thing that has always kind of bothered me is how
loose the chain adjustment specs are compared to the 916 or monster I used
to have. I have it set up properly to 30 - 35 mm, but I also noticed while
checking the tension that 3 of the rear sprocket nuts were loose enough to
spin off with my fingers.

I checked the manual and tightened them back to torque specs, has anyone run
into this ? Is it a problem to watch out for with this particular model. I
bought this bike used from a dealership in Vancouver last August, I haven't
put many miles on it yet, but I am unimpressed with a dealership not going
through a bike to make sure it is in safe condition. Now I think I'll do a
thorough check of every nut and bolt on this bike. Other than that I love
the bike.
