I know. They should come with warning labels. I rather equate my choice to
sell my Ducs to a junkie swearing off the juice. Now I don't have the money
to start the habit back up, but good golly the withdrawals are killing me.
I stay away from demo rides and even stopped going to the Sac-Duc meetings
because just being around the bikes makes it worse.
And I know it's putting a strain on my marriage. It's cyclic -- I'm okay
for a week or two, and then I become obsessed with buying a Ducati, running
around the house trying to find stuff to sell, looking at Craigslist for
that 999R with 200 miles that's selling for $2500 and trying to convince
myself that just because the bike is allegedly in Croatia doesn't mean it's
necessarily a scam.
*sigh* Patience. Enjoy yours, Larry. I'm envious. Oh, and welcome to the
list!
