[Ducati] RE: Premier Motorcycles in San Antonio

Ok, I went over to Premier Motorcycles today and got the scoop.

Bob closed down the shop but let one of his mechanics, Luis, run it for the last 4 months of the lease. So any old phone number you might have for Premier doesn't work as Bob closed down all his accounts. I have the new phone number, just not on me this second. I'll post it if anybody is interested.

Luis said Bob went to work for a dealership in New Braunfels, I think he said it was a Yamaha dealership.

Luis also informed me that he is a certified Ducati mechanic, he and Bob worked together at KCI but both got fed up and left when things got bad. He also told me that he did most of the Ducati service when he worked for Bob at Premier. He also said that after the current lease is up, he is going to start his own shop. Since he did such a good job on my bike previously, I am going to continue to take it to him. Bob had an excellent reputation around here and I think Luis should get the benefit of that association.

I also have a friend who recently lunched his '02 GSXR-1000's engine so I asked Luis if he could handle a Suzuki rebuild and he said that he could. He said he could service any of the Japanese brands.

Well, that's all I know. I'm taking my bike there in two weeks. Can't wait to get back on the road!!!
