[Ducati] (was Sweet) - Now = Profound Discovery

Practicality rules....who does the books in the family? If you do, then
a simple S to R sounds like alphabet soup....no big deal.

For a while, I was on the "add a bike = add a horse" arrangement.
Horses being a lot more trouble to upkeep, I was able to exploit those
terms as I added bikes and she didn't want to mess with more hay and
stall cleaning.

Ultimately, she didn't care, the soul exception was when I sold my
Bimota, which she deemed too beautiful to allow out of sight; thus my
buy back arrangement that sees it once again in my garage. So now, it's
16 bikes to 2 horses. But there is a new house under construction......

Ahhh, the circle of life.

A new wrinkle to this line of thinking (hiding bikes)....a "Corollary"
if
you will...

If a 1098S is dropped off for service at dealer...but a 1098R is on the
trailer for the return trip....Is that considered buying a New bike...or
merely making an on-the-fly substitution...ya know...like in hockey :-)
Wife *might* notice gold wheels....but those could have been "traded for
my
old black ones at dealer for minimal cost" (carefully omitting that an
entire bike was also traded along with the wheels)
Once the sharkskinz go back on...no other visible differences... [Hidden
in
plain sight!!]
Hmmmm...(just kidding ;-)
