Well, I have been lurking for a little being envious of all the bikes, but I
feel I no longer have to lurk. Tomorrow I get my first Ducati... only a
little one, a 2008 Monster 695, but a Ducati nonetheless, all new and shiny.
Back in the mid 70's a good mate of mine had some sort of Ducati 250, I had
a Honda CB250 K1 and I lusted after his bike. Ducatis could be Desmos and
when he explained them to me I was in awe :)

Finally I will have one and it will have the magic valve gear. I am sure you
will understand how I feel.
