So I get a power/weight for the F1 car @ about 0.72 for the big engine and
0.55 with the smaller engine, and for the bike about 0.66...

Per Wikipedia....

The combination of light weight (605 kg in race trim), power (950 bhp
with the 3.0 L V10, 730 bhp (544 kW) with the 2007 regulation 2.4 L
V8), aerodynamics, and ultra-high performance tyres is what gives the
F1 car its performance figures.

So with the metric/english conversion.....730bhp at approx. 1,304lbs

cheers,

Fred
