[Ducati] LED help

    Ive had LEDs (taillight and turnsignals) on the rear of my 01 Monster S4 955 for quite awhile with no adverse effect on blink rate. I understand this is because the fronts were providing enough load to accomplish this. I have been tinkering with new front LED signals. I knew i was going to need load and bought 2 - 6ohm resistors that were sold as a specific solution for M/C when converting to LED all around. Well, it isnt. In typing this email, I have also exhausted my electrical knowledge so at this point, I am asking for help. 

    What resistance should I step up to and on which lead do I install it (positive or ground)?
