[Ducati] Donnington GP anybody?

Yes, but let me do the (very) rough math for a second.
gas 8000 miles, at 50 mpg, at $4 per gallon = $640
of approx 35 travel days, I can mooch off friends for 20. That leaves 15
days I have to provide sleeping, dinner and breakfast;
$10 campground fee + $3 fresh veggies and raman noodles + $6 beer for 15
days = $285
Drinks for friends I'm mooching off of $15 for 20 days = $300
Sundries $5 for 35 days = $175
tires, belts, oil and filter for Duck = $480
So, if I cut it to the bone, and there are no mishaps (as there were last
year), I might be able to pull this off for $1880, a little more than
Donnington. Of course, the Donnington MotoGP is just a weekend, but the trip
is for 5 weeks, over a dozen states and many miles, lots of curves, and the
chance to rupture my spleen near a cattle crossing in Texas,.... Well, maybe
the Donnington trip is a better idea after all.
