Hi
Yea I don't have Ducati's buying power. Still I would like to see Ienatsch
make one in his garage for less than 100k.
Having the experience I do with specials for myself and other people one
thing I have seen repeated is underestimating the cost. I lose count of the
times that people have reported they have 40k invested and are lucky to sell
for 15k. Or heard I planned on spending about X amount and I am into it for
double and I am not done yet. Yes with Ducati building 1000 they should be
able to stream line some of the processes and get much bigger price breaks
but I can't help but think that bike is deal at $70k. Look at the price of
used Moto Gp bikes ones I have seen advertised are that or double. And don't
forget the unlimited 3 year warranty and service. The saving grace for
Ducati on that is there will be plenty of bikes stored away from day one.
