Well it sound good Hopper, I think I will try the 020s for the new strada.
The old one now resides in Califooya with the Hill House brewmeister Aaron,
and he informed me he removed my chicken strips and that the Michelins suck,
greasy as hell. Guess he thinks he is Rossi or somethin.
Given the 'wet" we had this year, rain tyres seem like the "in" thing, and
if a crasher like Stoner goes good on Bridgestone, I oughta be bloody
brilliant :-)
chow,
pietro
ps anywhere near San Antonio? lets hook up for a ride

Subject: [Ducati] Mileage on B'stones...
> Peter, can't really say how many miles I ve gotten on the '020's but it'd
be near 8k on the rears and significantly more on the fronts. The BT56SS's
were fantastic but you can only get the BT56 now. Have one on the front now
and it barely looks worn and it's been on there for about a year and a
half...about 10k miles.

> I've played with the 010's on the rear but they go away fairly fast but
no way near as fast as the Pilots. On the front they tend to cup after the
miles add up. Tried a Conti Force but it blistered and bubbled and had slow
leaks when it was well worn in. Won't go there again!!!
>
> As to the 020's. you'll be real happy with them. I put about 8K or more
miles per year on the Duc so mileage is more important than super grip and
down here on the coast there are few curves that are of interest (well
except those on the beach!). Mostly straight lines. When I hit the Hill
Country, they do grip well. And they're good in the wet..as this year has
well proven!
