thanks all. i think there's some confusion with regard to BT-002s and
BT-020s in this and related threads. very very different tires.
similar profile, but the 20s have much more tread and are much harder,
the 002s are practically cut slicks! i doubt they'll last anywhere
near as long as the 20s (my sv's 20s have been going for 10K+ and
still have plenty life left, but then that bike never sees the track
or any partcularly hot pavement) but it would be nice if they did last
3-4K...
i went ahead and put the 002s on my 916 as there's a trackday coming
up next week that i wanted to try them at. hopefully they'll put a
stop to the front end tucks that i experienced on michelins,
hehehehe...
